Conway’s government includes an open Town Meeting legislative body (composed of all registered voters in the Town), a three-member Board of Selectmen executive branch, and other elected boards and officials. These bodies, together with the Town’s by-laws and Massachusetts general laws, form the framework for Town activity.

The Board of Selectmen, acting on the will of Town Meeting as expressed in 2012, have hired a Town Administrator to manage the day-to-day affairs of the Town (see the Town Administrator’s page for more information).

Town Meeting is held the second Monday in May, and the annual Town elections the Thursday following. Please find more information in the annual Town Report, as well as preliminary budgets for recent fiscal years, found on the Town Administrator’s page, and the annual Town Meeting warrants (agendas), found on the Town Clerk’s page.
