The Town Administrator presented the Fiscal Year 2020 Town budget to the Select Board and Finance Committee for their deliberation and recommendations at their March 4 joint meeting. The budget includes a detailed presentation of proposed departmental, committee, school and other Town expenses. It also includes discussions of free cash, excess levy capacity, projected revenues, capital requests, notes on selected capital expenses from last year’s annual Town Meeting, and notes on the tax rate, the average single-family tax bill, grants, and the budget process. Finally, there is a listing of proposed Town Meeting money articles. Please note that any item may change as the Select Board and Finance Committee move through their deliberations and recommendations. The warrant is scheduled to close Monday, March 11, and may have only technical corrections after then.
