This Climate Resilient South River Project Story Map was developed as part of the Mohawk Trail Woodlands Partnership Regional Adaptation & Resilience Project.
The Story Map will introduce you to all the work that has been going on in the South River Watershed over the past decade. The work has focused on assessing river and watershed conditions and identifying projects that can reduce threats to homes, businesses and critical infrastructure from flooding and erosion and restore water quality and wildlife habitat. These projects, both completed and planned, help us avoid, adapt and become more resilient to the damaging impacts of frequent and intense storms we are already experiencing and are expected to increase due to climate change.
